The WBJEE 2026 results are officially released on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can access their rank cards using their application number and password. Accessing your WBJEE 2026 result is a straightforward process conducted exclusively through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) official portal. To ensure a smooth download, keep your application number and password ready. The rank card is the most critical document for the upcoming admission cycle, as it contains your GMR (General Merit Rank) and PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank), which determine your eligibility for various state-funded and private engineering colleges.

We strongly advise students to save multiple digital copies and print at least three physical copies for document verification during the counselling phase.

According to official WBJEEB guidelines, the 2026 admission process is executed through a centralized, single-window online counselling framework. This system is designed to eliminate manual intervention and ensure transparency in seat allocation across Government Colleges, Universities, and Self-Financing Engineering Institutes. The process is divided into three distinct phases: Round 1, Round 2 (Upgradation), and the Mop-Up Round. Candidates must prioritize their college choices based on verified placement records and NIRF rankings rather than hearsay. The seat allotment is strictly based on the merit rank secured in the entrance exam and the choices locked by the student during the registration window. Failure to participate in the initial rounds can significantly limit your chances of securing a seat in top-tier institutions like JU or IIEST.
