UGC Mandates SWAYAM MOOCs in Colleges + Cabinet Approves Unified Education Regulator 2026
UGC's July 2026 directive mandates all Indian universities to integrate SWAYAM MOOCs — students can earn up to 40% of credits online. The Union Cabinet also approved the Viksit Bharat Shiksha Bill to merge UGC, AICTE, and NCTE into one regulator.
